What is The World Race?

 
 
The best way to describe the Race is that we will be going to "11 countries in 11 months" spreading humanity and the love of God to the poor, desperate, and hurting. It is about adventure, ministry, community, and self discovery and growth. I could be doing anything from working with children who have AIDS in Africa, to comforting those who were victims of sex trade in Thailand. From orphans to lepers we will be loving people around the world in the name of Christ. Each country will be something new.

Some people have been asking me why I would abandon everything to help people in third world countries. I've been asked the question "why don't you stay in America and help here?" Yes, there is work that needs to be done in America and I plan on continuing that when I come back, but the lessons I will learn overseas and the people that will be impacted will be life-changing. Seeing poverty first hand can cause a radical paradigm shift; I know that from going to India. I have been called for such a time as this to spread the message of hope and love to Gods children in every nation. To hold orphans, feed widows and bring justice to women sold into the sex trade. I have
been called to shift my thinking from my own needs, to the needs of the poor. To rise up and take a stand for the ones forgotten. Will you join me in fighting for these people?

I'm prod to say that on November 23, 2009 I officially completely the World Race and returned to America. I went to 20 countries in 4 continents and I'm changed because of it.
